The thing they got better at is more bonfires closer to bosses. With a guide, it became much easier but imagine playing a blind playthru of DeS in 2009.talk about tough. I remember writing a review on Gamespot(prolly still there) about how unfair DeS was and how it was artificially hard, and to some extent it was. ![]() The gameplay that essentially says "you are suppose to loose your first few times fighting a boss". Summons and especially DS1, a mage was capable of cake walking thru some boss fights, less so in later titles.īasically, when I first played Demon's Souls, I had to re train my brain for this style gameplay. ![]() Dark Souls also has built in safety valves for the difficulty.
